Make up for years

It was seven years ago that I decided to make dreadlocks with extensions, and even though my hair was quite thin back then, it got completely destroyed during the many years it was tightly knotted and pulled from the roots - and my roots are not that strong, because I have never cared about haircare or vitamins at all before. On top of that, I’m also Scandinavian, so I should have been more careful when I slept while having dreadlocks - tie up my hair or something - instead of sleeping on them…

The question I always get now when I’ve combed out and cut the dreads, is if I’m going to make new ones. I’ve decided to let the hair rest for a year, treat it with kindness and then see if it thickens a bit. It might look easy to wear dreadlocks, but keeping them tidy is actually a lot of work - for my hair, at least.

A couple of years ago, I began with a daily skin routine to make the red dots disappear from my face - and now I have to do the same with my hair. And then, of course, eating healthy and drink water, do daily yoga and go outside for a run or a walk now and then, will hopefully make me look healthier and younger without wearing make-up all the time (I only use mascara and sometimes concealer for the bags under my eyes, and only when I go out with friends).
